SoftPac™ is an acid concentrate for bicarbonate based haemodialysis and is intended to be used with BiCart® cartridge for the on-line preparation of HD, HDF and HF fluids on compatible Gambro dialysis systems. 3.5L of acid-based concentrate to be diluted 1+44 (1:45) dilution, produces 157L dialysis fluid when mixed. Electrolyte concentration after dilution together with BiCart® cartridge and machine setting Na+/HCO3- = 140/34mmol/L. To be used within 24 hours after the frangible pin has been broken.
