Performance
Spring Resistance
The device uses a variable load calibrated spring, calibrated to your chosen resistance. It can be adjusted from the lowest load setting when you begin training and increased as your breathing muscles adapt and become stronger. The standard unit used to measure breathing resistance is cmH20, which is short for “Centimeters of water”.
This table shows how each device (VIS-04, VIS-05, VIS-06) compares to one another. The levels 0-10 are all manually adjustable on the device at any time, and you should increase the level from 0 through to 10, over time as your breathing strength improves.

Intended Use
The device is designed to exercise the inspiratory muscles (those used to breathe in), improving their strength and stamina and reducing fatigue.
Anyone who is under the age of 16 should only use the device with supervision from an adult as this device contains small parts. Children under 6 years old are not suitable for using the device.
