It also features an ODI Index and Pl perfusion index for accurate readings of blood oxygen saturation and pulse. The ODI Index is a measure of the average blood oxygen level before going to bed. During sleep, if the monitored blood oxygen level drops 4 points or more from the pre-sleep average for at least 10 seconds, it is considered a hypoxic event. The average amount of oxygen lost per hour during the entire sleep period is referred to as the ODI index. If a user's ODI index falls between 5 and 14.9, it indicates mild sleep apnea; 15 to 29.9 indicates moderate sleep apnea; and 30 or more indicates severe sleep apnea.

The measurement requires the finger to be inserted to an adequate depth, otherwise it will be unable to accurately record.
